Maury County Tennessee History and Families ©1998 is the first county family history book published in nearly a century. It begins with a history of Maury county written by beloved county historian Bob Duncan, starting with the Native Americans and the first Settlers of the early years, moving towards the Civil War and Union Occupation to Reconstruction to WWI and WWII, Mules Days, and movement to the new millennium. 
Next is a history of Maury County communities and events, then schools, church congregations, and businesses. And then finally families of Maury County and there histories starting with the Abernathy’s and ending with the Young’s and many families in between. Many photos are included of people, places, and events.
